Philipp Budka has been teaching at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the University of Vienna in the BA, MA and CREOLE (Cultural Differences and Transnational Processes) programs. He has been giving lectures and seminars on the introduction to sociocultural anthropology, the anthropology of media and technology, digital anthropology and digital ethnography as well as visual anthropology at the University of Vienna and other educational institutions. He was a lecturer in the MA Program Visual and Media Anthropology at the Free University Berlin / HMKW Berlin, where he taught courses on indigenous media and media activism. He also contributed to the development of digital learning material for the social sciences, in particular for sociocultural anthropology.
